there a note tab in nwn you can maybe update via hak/overides to allow the notebook to incert excel builds etc? maybe even in a nwn format code etc.? so when people or even new ones who happen to mistakenly mess up there build dont have to anymore they just glance over note tab and choose there upgrades with no blowback of rebuild yet again for the infinite time today.

Try to use copy/paste
Ctrl-C in notepad -> Ctrl-V /Shift-Ins in your characters journal. Game keep your notes in plain text format.
I can't confirm, that it is handy. I tried, but don't use it anymore.
It is better to keep your build saved in external document.
