I was meandering through the forgotten city and I started noticing all of the mushroom clumps in some of the side rooms people seem to bypass.
I was thinking it would be pretty cool if you could harvest some consumables. There could be a probability of a mushroom clump spawning pickable mushrooms. There are at least two types of mushrooms that I noticed, maybe more. The mushrooms when eaten would modify your crafting skills (or all skills ) for a temporary period (1d4 rounds). One could boost the skills and the other could decrease them. I was also thinking the negative might be stackable. This sounds silly but I was thinking if there were a consumable de-buff people wouldn't have to have high-craft and low-craft toons. Just noodling.

Interesting idea. I like the concept of having consumables that lower your crafting score so it can't be abused but allows you to be more versatile with your crafter.
