Wilderness Signs

This may not be a bug, maybe an unfinished area but I thought I'd bring it up. In the Wilderness area, east of Skara Brae there are two signs that say "Examine". The say "Enter and die". But there's no transition or door or event. Am I missing a quest somewhere?
