Demon Forged error

Well, I am sure I did this right but did not get a demon forged weapon out of it.
I killed him with a kukri and did not get a kukri in the chest. Any idea what happened?

I made sure to check, nothing.
Would it matter if I was using a Kukri that I used a Gem of Trasferrance on?

It should not matter. I have tweaked the script a bit to try and make it more reliable.

I had that issue once, did not get demon forged from boss, but killed champion right after who dropped the demon forged. Gremlins.
