Can't Use Prismatics on Gloves of Resonance

Gloves of resonance, the perked Monk gloves that do sonic damage, are unable to be forged with a prismatic. The forge golem hits you with the whole "this item already has what you are trying to add, or is otherwise incompatible" message. You can forge it in other ways, but for some reason you can't use prismatics on it. I think this must be relatively recent because I'm pretty sure I have used a prismatic on these gloves in the past.

Swear I've used prismatics on them before because I have a pair with ab+20, possible I used dwarf to remove the ab I'll have to try that

Without wanting to give away any crafting spoilers, it is possible to overwrite AB with a higher value without removing the existing AB as far as I know. That might be how the +20 was achieved previously.
