I bought a robe from the Blackrose store, which had craft armour +10 on it. When I gave it to my crafter and he put it on, it dropped to craft armour +3.

Sorry - no screenshots as didn't think of it.

Not sure if this is a bug, or if it is intentional to restrict drafting bonuses.

Intentional, craft armor and craft weapon feat on items will nerf at +3 on equip.
Similar idea, the bard song bonus to craft armor and craft weapon is +10max.
