The Shadow Mournival

Post by Omegon »

Image

Following the recent butchering in Blackstone Keep. A Shadow Mournival was held in the memory of the fallen in defense of the keep.

There were many in attendance and of all different walks of life.

Adventurers, commoners, guards and nobles all held their heads low and paid their respects.

After bells tolling and a short service. The memorials are taken to an undisclosed site for the second "Vengeance" rites simply known as.

A certain fact is that Citizens of the Keep will not forget the day.

Standing near the gates of the keep hearing and writing the testimony of the "heroic" mage Lancoon, Drum heard Lady Abigail's announcement on the memorial to be held in honor of those fallen in the recent rain on the Keep. Quickly collecting her notes and taking the details of a few other adventurers who had stories to share, Drum gathered herself and attended the proceedings.

Drum did her best to not be a nuisance, all the while maintaining a funeral song and saying a few words in her native tongue. Walking the shadow walk she hummed another mourner's tune, saddened but unsure why she felt such sorrow for people she knew so little.
The Lady Abigail said a few words as did one of her appointed clergy.
The ceremony was brief and not without small outbursts from other adventurers as well as a supposed siting of the wanted goblin Yoma.
Drum departed with a dirge on her lips, in search of more stories to be told.
