im building a Str dev crit with some dex after 25
might rebuild for a Dev so it can be a smooth transition to 40 witch one is the better route for a first character here.

Dev crit is altered here and even then you require an Amber forge stone to achieve the best possible reult to your weapon of choice... In addition Amber forge stone is an extremely rare item ...

It is worth taking dev crit as it doubles your base damage when you land a critical. Just to be clear, you don't need an Amber to take advantage of this.
