IMHO, it would be good to have the way to change description
of character and hide his challenge rate by RP reason.

Neither is possible description can only be made at creatation just the once, to alter it would make your character invalid if you edited the text file creatated at that point...
As for hiding CR this can only be done at server level and would effect everyone personally I would not like it as it would also effect the view of monsters not just player characters and would remove also the means of eyeing a monsters vulnerabilities or strength's... If put to a voted I would be against this move...
Some so called RP servers even remove in the login list characters level etc... This is horrible as you then make it even harder to know who to party up with for your adventures ....

Both are possible through some fancy scripting. I know a RP server I used to play on allowed you to change description.. As for CR it allowed for people that had high spot to reveal it I believe... It may have been something other than spot but it was something.
