Bug is back, except now instead of hitting myself with the proc I'm hitting my merc. When the merc dies they respawn naked and out of party, but still follow around and help. That may be a bug in and of itself. But my procs are now hitting him about half the time, even when he's not in melee range. The weapon still hits the intended target.

I haven't hit myself since this was fixed but I also noticed problems with hitting party members the other day. At the time I was attacking a monster with an aura which may have been part of the problem, it worked on the Witch with no issues.

This is an engine bug that was introduced a few patches back. I will add a friendly check as a workaround.
