Is there a way to change a characters name?

Would like to use the xp from a character I've been playing, after thinking of something better as a name. Was wondering if there's a way to do a name change? Thanks.

Exremely unlikely to happen... You'd be better off creating a new character with your desired name...

There isn't. The name has to match the previous one.
