Power words

It would seem that power word spells as a result of advance's in monster types and no longer should be deserving of the title power, as they are no longer of any power what so ever... For example power word stun has no effect at all on any monster or creature with more than 100 hit points...
Though this would be useful in a vanilla server with little in the way of magic range or at the very low end of the magic scale... It and those other power word spells are next to useless and a waste of a spell slot even if targetting a single creature let alone if one should choose to cast it as an area effect...
Would it be possible to rework these power word spells so that they better reflect the the level of magic that BSK is related too ...
