Temple Of The Dragon Transition

Recently I went through most of the strongholds and completed them solo. I enjoyed them all, they were a nice alternative to my usual grinding spots. I found a problem with the "Temple of the Dragon" though, the stairs heading down at the end of the first level don't work. I was stuck at the end of level one and in the end I ported out.
