Ouch....!

So.. a lowly level 14 cleric went on a questing spree.
On his righteous travels, he encountered a general who had a nice shiny gem. Very large and unusual it was. On further exploration it turned out to be a key which opened a large door.
Unfortunately beyond the door was a King who did not like being disturbed and dispatched the lowly cleric with a single blow.
Due to a kindness from the gods, the cleric awoke in a temple, remembering little about the encounter other than perhaps he should visit and perhaps recover something he lost. Attempting this, he discovered the door was locked and the general had no further shiny gems.
