Bug with Galanfar Devilhands quest

The secret door for this quest seems to be bugged. When I get close to it, my character automatically spams the "I found something" line repeatedly, and the secret door never shows up, except for a very brief moment, before it disappears. I suspect the script that triggers it is firing repeatedly, causing the door to get stuck in a spawning animation loop. I recorded a video of the bug here: https://youtu.be/VUZ2Lea6wOQ

edit: I should note that I tried this on a different character with 50+ spot and search skill and ran into the same issue.
