questions from a noob.

So i've began playing yesterday and made a bard "forger bard/fighter/RDD" because i did read that it's important to have such a toon.
Thing is i'm kind of lost here on what should i do?

I mean am i expected to kill mobs and grind to gain levels along side the quests?
when can i start to craft?

Is there a main town beside blackstone?
When should i go there?

Also something nasty happend.
At level 4 i hired a henchman for 20000 gold.
Then while travailing with it i found the old farmer and got the fighting chicken only to find that i lost my henchman and my 20000 gold.

Leveling up your character will require finishing quests and killing mobs.
The place you craft at is further along in the module. To get the best results, it would be best to follow one of the builds posted in the link above.

There are other towns with higher level shops/quests/etc, but Blackstone is considered the "main" town.

This how standard NWN works, you can only have one henchman at a time.
