The Forge stone that makes a socket - Myth or truth?

I just wanted to hear if anyone had ever seen one of those mythical Forge Stones that supposedly can be used to fit a socket to an item. Don't tell me where you found it or how increadibly happy you were, just let me know that they actually exist. I have to keep my hope up....

I only know of one person who got one and that was from a DM reward, I haven't found any from loot drops (boss or regular). It's possible that they exist as very rare drops and nobody has been lucky enough to find one.
