Question about chests

Hi all,

Ive been playing here about a week now and am finding this server awesome!
I tried to do the first shrine quest but was unable to get into a chest. I play a cleric so my only option is to bash.
Could someone please explain the mechanics of getting into chests on this server.
For example was i on the right track bashing the chest or i will need a rogue or something?
Any help much appreciated.

Just click on it, it should open. Sometime, you have to move close to it or set yourself in front of the chest so it will open, depend where the chest appear to and such.

Yeah thanks for answer but when i do that. I get spammed with soudburst trap. Very strange

Are you referring to fixed chests or loot chests that appear sometimes when you kill mobs?

No not the loot drop chests.
This particular one is in the first shrine dungeon and itslike a normal nwn chest. I had an idea though that perhaps it works in the same fashion as the shrine entrance.
Any clues appreciated

back to the basic question, perma chest if they have a trap or is lock, you'll need either the related skill or the related spell or magic item that duplicate the right spell.
