Deleted character's XP

After the next reset(6AM EST). When you delete a character, that character's xp will be saved to the database so that you can re-use it.

Type /givexp=xxxx in chat to apply it to your current character.

Err... I feel I'm always asking for clarification...

Now, xxxx is that the number of XP that I want to re-use?
So, I can technically delete one of my lvl 40 characters and then re-use those XP to 18 other of my toons? No limitations on the number of toons I can give it to?
If I delete my character named "driller4president" and then make a new character named "driller4president", this character will inherit all quests and the items in the personal storage chest, right? Now I can also re-use all the xp, so i can basically remake my character without having to do all the grinding? Did I get that correctly?

Yes, xxxx is the amount you want to apply to that character.

If you delete a character, then everything gets wiped. Your character's xp is saved and you may use it on any other character. No limitations.

This could end up being a good thing or a bad thing, lets see how it goes.

Did you change that recently? Because not long ago (2-3 weeks) I started a new toon with an old name and inherited all the quests.

I had that happen when I was originally building Smurf. He started out as gnome and I decided as soon as I got to the docks I wanted him to be halfling.

I think that's because of server side caching... I've had that happen with other toons but it's not related to this change. If you want the exact same name it won't matter if you change races... The old race phenotype will be applied to the toon. I don't know if this goes away if you wait for a server restart in-between the deletion and recreation.

ok just for clarification. . . I just started playing here and have already messed up my build. If i delete that character and make another one with the exact same name, the game will give me all the old characters gear and loot? I can also apply his xp to the new character? Is that correct?

No loot but xp in a bank yes. You can ofc hand loot over to a mule before you delete and thus save loot manually.

It doesn't work this way currently. But I intend to make it that way. I don't like the way it is now, it sorta makes BSK a glorified Halls of training.
I just haven't gotten around to fixing it.
