New Minibosses

Post by Kane0 »

I haven't seen anyone else say anything about them yet, but I really like them. Adds a bit of color and variety to the grind.

Do they come with anything special in regards to loot, or just the bonus XP?

They have an increased loot drop chance compared to a normal mob.

Before logging off, I ran into an electric wolf! It was electrifying, and also exciting!

The mini bosses were a great addition.

Definitely a big thumbs up for the Area Champions. Excellent addition.

I wish we had a hunter log on them so that I know which I found and killed.

The Silencer Champion it really bad!! You are silenced like forever unless you rest. I have not tried Great Restoration on it yet but I hope it clears it. Definitely a bane for cleric's and mages!

Addendum: Greater Restoration will not clear the silenced spell, only resting does. If this is as designed then kudos!!

The silencer is especially annoying since there is no save either to go with that duration.

Question about the Silencer: Is the effect of being silenced not supposed to be curable by the cleric in the temple?

Gleanna should be able to cure any effect.

The last time I tried Gleanna did not cure the silencer affect, I'll try again.

That is why I asked. Gleanna doesn't heal the silence. The only way I have found is to rest, which is fine if that is the way it is supposed to work. :)
