Standing by the tree, listening from your corner table in a bar, lurking deep with a cave, or even stalking silently from shadow to shadow along the roadside, things are learned.

Whether seen, heard, staged, truth, fiction, firsthand, second hand, wild story, secrets bound in a sacred tome or simply an oldwives tale ...

rumors drift from person to person.

What have I heard about you?
What have you heard about me?
Who was that person around the corner?
Did you see that?

What rumors are whispered?

An odd illness began spreading through the region. Demons sprouted from the mangled corpses of the sick as they died.

Gleanna directed those who gathered to meet the threat to Skara.

A robed traveler has been see traversing the Road between Blackstone Keep and as far as Oasis. Others on the roads claim that this older gentleman stops and greets any he comes across, offering a blessing, a modest amount of supplies, and sage-like advice for the "Journey" ahead. This man is identified by the greyed muttonchops and quirky mannerisms all themed with traveling and pathways.

A new business has recently settled in the Blackstone area. The storefront is cozy, fancy, and professional. From behind the counter, Mr. Istovir, a dark elf of fine tastes, smiles to all potential clients as he adjusts a finely-crafted monocle. His business is accounting and banking, and it is said that his most prominent clients include legitimately registered sellswords, aristocrats, note-worthy scholars, and even a few enigmatic wizards. Details on the clients are officially confidential, but local rumor mills are above such restrictions.

A few strong-armed men have been seen walking the streets of the Keep. Apparently a new band of mercenaries for hire have settled in the keep, looking to line their pockets with the fruits of employment.

The Umgah population took a sharp drop in the latest Underdark Census, administered last week. Analysts believe that the reason behind this unusual decrease can be attributed to factors of infidelity among the denizens. Other sources cite the introduction of two new specimens that have taken up residency in the Umgah City: a human woman wielding scythe and magic, and an elven-kin woman said to possess the blood of the gods. Hopeful media specialists look forward to a potential twist of Blackstone's up-and-coming reality entertainment.

Rumors spread that the archwizardress, Natasha Angelus, made the killing (or re-killing depending how you view it) blow on King Aldriek (also referred to as BoneBags McGee) with the much needed help of the newly appointed Starksonite General Marcus, the revered spellcaster Draco, and ever famous Dr. Crone. Natasha has been seen strutting down the cobblestone streets, proud of the accomplishment with such fine gentlemen, and admiring a golden ring that she acquired during the quest.

Based on conversations had last eve between a beautiful elf maiden Rogue, a mysterious Rogue Tiefling and a paladin. The paladin and all paladins within the keep might be eunuk's. Now, I can neither confirm nor deny this rumor but said paladin did not seem to be offended by this statement....
