Delete Re Create

Okay when you delete your character than recreate the same name your quest are all screwed up. They don't start from zero yet your XP does. Also you have zero gold.

I had to go around punching things until I could afford a bow. Then I had to go around shooting things until I could afford armor and melee weapons and so on. So the best thing to do right now is not recreate with the same exact name.
