Ok, ive tried, failed, asked, tried failed again, repeated process and still cannot do something pretty basic - craft one of those nice dandy style hats with the feather in it!

Can anyone descrive in simple terms how to craft something that doesnt look like an upturned bucket?

Well if you can't do it ask another character to do it for you preferably one with some skill points in craft armour.

In case you don't know, it's not a helmet, it's a robe (oddly enough). So you need to use the craft robe option to get the hat. If you already knew, ignore this post.
