Your probibly better off stateing your ideas and the asking for specific pointers.

Asking for random advice will either get you no responce or you will get a ton of crap that can not ever be balanced into a useable fashion regardless how cool it sounds.

I Have a wonderful Idea,

Put a GIANT TREE in the middle of your town, and watch 10 People soak up your bandwidth by sitting there for weeks on end.

Sacastic comment aside, creating a central spot that has an attraction to all level of players helps provide a place that people can easily meet and interact.

The Great Trees are one ideal way of doing this as they provide a place that has a natural (forgive the pun) draw and places for seats to be placed.

The seating is essential. In my career as an online nwn gamer, I have probably spent more time sitting on a bench or a chair than anything else.

As far as the scripting goes...placing a bench isn't difficult. But make sure you have something in place that kicks the person off the bench when they log. Driller's system works by putting them at an entry point to the last area they were in (except when I randomly end up on the boat).

is it possible to write a script that would do the following

if your of evil align you spawn at the Blackguard temple

if your of good align. you spawn at the Paladin temple

if your of neutral you spawn at the Neutral temple

i would also like to know if that is possible, in my opinion i guess you could make an entrance teleporter and when you click it depending on you type of evil good or neutral, depends on where you teleport? sound like a plan?

^_^ my ideas are always good even if they dont work
