Just a reminder that Open Mic Night will be held tonight, after the 20:00 EST reset in the Bordermarch Tavern. Hope to see you there. =)

I feel dirty using a smilie just to get attention.

I was actually a little disappointed that I missed out on this. I wanted to bring Thanny out for some drunken story telling. Oh well, maybe next time.

*mutters to himself about stupid weddings* :P

Hello,

unfortunatly you did not miss anyting, DM_Griphon was kind enough to host an event but it seems no one who wanted to participate could make it.

Sneek Eclean, and some others sat around and did some riddles. Sneek wanted to listen to some bards, but again... bards are all talk and no action.

*evil grin

Next time Sneeky will have something to say.

*cheers DM_G.

Well, hopefully DM_Griphon will host another and one of my characters won't be getting married on that night lol.

I had to work that night and did not get off until 1am. Oh well.

The actual event was a bit of a flop. I can't be held responsible for the scheduling clash of the player run marriage and my event... seeing how my invitation to such an event must have gotten lost in the mail.

We'll see if I host another one either later this month or sometime in September. I believe it has a great opportunity for roleplaying, in the greatest sense of the word, however unless the opportunity is taken, nothing happens.

It was just an attempt to show that the DM's do run events... but unfortunately since very few people showed up, it doesn't do much for that rumor's reputation.

Thanks again to the little halfling that shared some timeless classics with us.

You know I wanted to throw down on some story time!! Or...maybe you didn't.

*looks over his shoulder quickly, in caution*

*whispers* But you know how those women get. "It's now or never",
"Marry me or lose me forever" ...what's a guy to do?

I'll try to make sure I'm freed up next time though.

I'm not gonna take this thread off topic but...that was just soooo wrong...like she forced him to marry her...ok I'm done now, sorry.

I would have shown up, but alas, I had lost track of time while playing Planescape: Torment. I'll be sure to watch the clock more closely next time.

Forgiveable. But only because it was Planescape.

If there's actually a desire for this, then there's no harm in setting up another one. Afterall it is an Open Mic Night. People are as welcomed to come as they are to not come. If that makes sense.

I'll look at my calendar later today and evaluate a suitable date.
