Just to let you know that I am still working on BSK2 to get it ready for the expansion pack. I have added in limited custom appearance crafting.

Added missing sounds that Obsidian left out of combat, this really makes a difference. Replaced socket gems with enchantment stones that will work on any time.

They work similar to the way sockets gems do now:

Enchantment stones can be used to upgrade select item types up to three times.
1 stone = 1d6
2 stones = 1d8
3 stones = 1d10

If the item already has three or more bonuses on it, then the enchantment stone will not work. If the item already has a bonus equal to or more than the max that three enchantment stones give, then it will not work.

Like I said, I will give it another try when the expansion comes out.

Appearance editing will be most welcomed! Let's hope that the packet flooding and the cpu usage problems will finally be fixed. Epic levels is something to look forward to however.

Was there ever a problem with crashing during transitions? I hear that this is a problem. But, this never happened to me on BSK2. Did any of you experience it?

Maybe back in the days of 1.02. I haven't encountered that problem recently however.

Now that I think about it, it I remember this did happen a few times during a packet storm. Heck I even posted about it on the nwn2 forums. Guess my memory ain't what it used to be...

Nice to hear you are giving NWN2/BSK2 another go when the Expansion comes out. I hope it does fix/help with Previous problems. Im certain there is a group of 5 - 6 friends of mind really intrested in this news. Plus all the other players here, and all the players on BSK1, You'd definatly have a player base. Just hope the expansion comes good. Here's hoping.

ps. I did experiance crashes going through transitions, but that could be me forcing the game though a 2.2 processer.

Not to long to wait for the expansion looking good

Hope a lot of bug fixes are in there

It would be great to see BSK2 back up (keeping fingers crossed)

I have not experienced any crashes through transition not on BSK2
but have on other servers.

Mario you need to feed the hamster it will run faster trust me would i lie to you errr on second thoughts don't answer that,
failing that i'm going to get the D&D crew together and come round yours
with some pointy sticks till ya make it go faster.

As Mario says Driller we have at least 6+ people just in our small little town
here looking forward to the time again to become part of BSK2 :D

Just to add to the numbers I have 3 folks and none of us have played since BSK2 was taken off line. We eagerly (and with patience and respect) await its return.
