Questions, queries, interrogatives

Post by eclipse08 »

1. Are there going to be ridable horses anytime soon? I don't think they take haks.

2. Does anyone know where there's a list of the basic crafting items and what they make? i.e.: what basic armor and weapons take what basic crafting supplies?

3. Do the bonuses from subraces count towards the +12 maximum on stats?

4. Can I play a Drow character on this server?

5. Are the CEP playable races in this MOD? (Brownies, Wemics)

6. What does Driller REALLY look like? ;)

Don't know... but rumor has it that Driller is an artificial construct running on an IBM Power 5 System at the Texas Advanced Computing Center. Mind you I could be wrong....

Driller one time gave me nightmares.... He described what he normally wears around his house. That was enough for me I will never ask to see a pic of him.

I like to picture Driller in a tuxedo T-Shirt because it says I want to be formal, but I'm here to party.

Thanks for the many responses. I guess I should clarify #5. Is the Drow subrace playable. I mean will the stats and immunities/vulnerabilities be correct?

As far as I know, it is not a initially selectable race, but there are DM controlled subraces that you must prove your RP abilities to be invited to play. If you hang around the keep, you might see a few of them. So, I suppose it is possible other than using the black skin, white hair option, to receive the benefits and crutches of a drow.

Uhm yeah what is the deal for drow? My friend included drow as subrace when creating her character.

As she played, she noticed that other drow used drow language, which she could understand, but when she went to speak, only had elven.

She asked about it, and I had no answer.

If you think it is impossible -- for you, it is.

My RDD got a token placed into inventory, that could be activated to speak draconic. Not sure, but maybe Drow get similar token.

The dms have to give it to you. At least that is how my drow char got her's. Then again she is her own subrace.....hehehehehe. Proof that drows will breed with anything at least ones twice to be sure.
