This is a pretty handy tool I found on another forum I belong to. It will determine whether or not your machine will/should run NWN 2 among other games, and will tell you what needs to be upgraded if anything. Hope this helps some of you.

Hmm,
I activated the active-x thingy, and downloaded the software, and then IE just dies.

Ugh! You still use Internet Explorer? You poor, poor soul. Download a REAL browser and that may solve your problems and really make for an all over better internet browsing experience (really, it does)!

I agree. I was sceptic at first, before I had firefox. But I've been so happy with Firefox. It makes downloading easier and better, it seems faster and it has some quite helpful toolbars. And it also 'automaticly' finds whatever plug-ins needed, when browsing sites with flashplayer, java or whatever.
