don't use it for an online module, there's too much needless, lag-creating crap on it. It's good for test mods offline, but to go online, you really need to create the scripts yourself.
Anyway, here's the URL for the Script Generator.

Yep. I second that. Do not use Lilac Soul's Script Generator in online modules, you end up with waaay too large scripts with waay to much checking, and the result will be funny bugs and lag. But it's good to learn from.Pretty Fly White Guy wrote:don't use it for an online module, there's too much needless, lag-creating crap on it. The syntax is a closer match to C. A few handy resources to develop scripting abilities include:

The only constant is change.

mongol.. lmao
those links are really useful...
what i do is: read some info from those links, then use lilac's to create the script, then do my own script based on both... generally works for simple things... must stuff on BSK here is too hard for me even to start thinking of it... seriousy...
hail the mighty driller, wizard of scripting!

Definately usefull! I took his tutorials when I wanted to learn scripting, and it really helped a lot. If anyone want to learn scripting, check ouut his tutorials. LSSG is also really good to learn from, but it shouldn't be used in a "proffesionel" module.

I had built a server a while back when i had a different computer (ponders on the old piece of **** that burnt up on him) and had started using only Lilac's and a few of driller's ideas/concepts. By far is Lilac's awesome except for a learning tool.
On the other hand, driller's scripting is well-thought out and I prefer it above and beyond Lilac.
