Doubts: Suggested build Wizard 38 / Ranger 1 / Rogue 1

Hy mates,
I'd like to follow this build but I have some questions.

First of all, why one lvl ranger? Maybe monk for evasion and discipline?

About Strong ... ok at beginning can be nice because it's hard to find magic bags.
But +1 in dex for better save and ac it's better no?
I'll choice others spell focus (necro and evocation first)
Both epic spell mummy and dragon (different use)

Extend spell, is there a limit for aoe spell? I read about one script.

This build is a DC Wizard focused on conjuration, enchantment, and necromancy.

You can choose a spell school for extra slots but I recommend being a generalist.

Ranger 1 gives you an extra feat, in this case a Greater Spell Focus.
Wizard 38 / Monk 1 / Ranger 1 is an alternative build that has Evasion but loses UMD.
Discipline isn't needed on this build or on most PvM builds.

+4 DEX isn't that useful since your AC and Reflex are both so low that an extra +2 doesn't really matter.
+4 STR is the difference between a 200 lb limit (18 STR) and a 346 lb limit (22 STR) which is more useful for this build.

Choosing different spell focuses is a matter of personal choice.
Conjuration, Enchantment, Evocation, Necromancy, and Transmutation all have useful spells that are worth focusing in.

Mummy Dust is much weaker than both Dragon Knight and a level 38 golem, it's not worth taking on this build.

Extend Spell can be kept if you want it but it's not really neccessary for this build.
The AoE script depends on the specific spell, Extend Spell doesn't affect it.
