Lia's Weapon and Armor Blessings

Lia's blessings charge gold, then remove the original item from inventory; leaving the player naked/empty handed.

I've tried this with a plain longsword, a longsword +2, full plate armor (socketed), and leather armor (no sockets).

As an aside: the weapon blessing will not work on a socketed weapon for some reason.

Check the altar. Lia will only bless plain weapons.

The altar doesn't appear to be an active object that my toon can interact with. I'm in the temple of Lia in Boardermarch. Are you talking about the one in Oasis?
