Some of the forge stones doesnt stack

I have noticed that some of the forge stones stack while others do. Is it on purpose that the blue, while, green, black & prismatic forge stones doesnt stack?

This is determined by the base type of the item in the toolset.

So in other words: We will live with them not being stackable
