Please join me in welcoming DM Ruby to the DM team. Ruby joins us to help accommodate for the timezone differences (ruby is based on the east coast.). Ruby's most important role will drive player interactive events on Blackstone, with a goal to help encourage role-playing.

Seriously, i will try to make bi-monthy Roled Played sessions for low levels with specific dm-driven characters that will be used just for that. Working on a scenario right now. I will help run events for high-level players as well, try to mix the guilds in there, to help balance the events for low/high-level players.

Just try to promote role playing, it can be so much fun if we just give it a go and try a bit.

That sounds great Ruby. Thanks for DMing, providing what your offering.

Question: Are the builds your offering for low level Roleplay: Does a player ask for one of those pregens , builds to play?

Also what's the process of joining, playing one of those builds?

Or do we just follow a build template, and build our characters to match one of the builds you offer in order to qualify, get to participate in your events?

Also do we have to use one of your builds, or can we make our own builds to play in your events, provided they meet your guidelines that you want for your events?

Also about what you said about Roleplay.

I think that is fine, great and all, but some people are still new, learning game, mechanics, the ropes, etc, and when do that, hard to stay in character, when need to occasionally go out of character for some things.

Also I find, see that when I, others want to roleplay, try to roleplay, that not very many want to, can roleplay. This can make it hard to roleplay as well.

Hopefully you, others can change that. Might be fun to Roleplay, instead of farming, soloing, or being in parties that run blindly ahead and kill everything, before you get to do anything, because cant keep up, and where said parties, groups dont use strategy, and where its pointless to play a stealth character, because no one wants you to, or will allow you to scout, etc.
