Powerbuilders unite VI: Arcane Archer?

So, in my quest for the most started and not finished characters, I've now reached the AA. I looked everywhere, but found nothing exciting except a Bard/RDD/AA Combo, but I already have a Bard/RDD crafter that's awesome.

Now, I've always liked the Ranger base, you get a nice BAB, a familiar and some buffs. Does anyone have a nice AA build based on a Ranger? Or any other uber AA build that could work on BSK?

This is from the old bioware epic character builds they presented way back in the day. So if nothing else you can use it as a starting point. Its not ranger based though. I see several things on it I would change for bsk personally. Iron will, and the resist energy feats seem silly for bsk since we know for a fact we can get mind immunity, and a resist ring easily. Dunno what I would put in their place, maybe dodge, mobility, spring attack so that if you have to kite around you don't get AoO'd all day. That would leave one more feat slot pre-epic which if it was me I would take Called Shot. Just my thoughts on it though.

This uber character was created by our indefatigable moderator, Christian "Torias" Gillott . His goal was to build a with the best possible ranged attack bonus and base damage. Let's see how the Reliable Archer turned out.

Key buff elements of this character are his incredibly high dexterity and plentiful Arcane Archer levels. At level 40, with a mundane Longbow, using Rapid Shot at an enemy within 30 feet, he can unleash the following:
Attacks: +59 / +59 / +54 / +49 / +44
Damage: 1d8 + 21

Surprisingly, the Arcane Archer also has good defensive capabilities. His Armour Class when wearing nothing but a mundane robe is 26. He also has a +5 bonus to saving throws vs. spells due to the Spell Craft ranks, as well as bonuses from the feats Luck of Heroes and Iron Will.

With tactical grace, this character can choose the location and timing of his battles. Thanks to excellent stealth abilities, he has +59 to Hide and Move Silently.

Almost no creatures can resist divine damage. This build is about delivering as much divine damage as possible. The arrows from this elven archer are loaded with the divine enchantment from a very high charisma and the Divine might feat.
He can also use the sacred powers to defend himself with a Divine shield. This elf is a highly skilled arcane archer with a heavenly high precision, a high piercing base damage and the ability to pierce most magical defenses even when given a mundane bow and arrows.

Well if you like the Robin Hood theme:
Lady Marian (Wildwood Maiden) Bard 8, SD 10, Arcane Archer 22

Robin of Locksley: the Archer's Story (Wildwood Outlaw) , Bard 1, AA 13, Ranger 26

Though with the Ranger's Pet. At some point it will become to weak to use and it will be more an RP addition.
Not to mention with ranger you need to be carefull with XP penalty for multiclassing.

I still think the best Arcane Archer's are the bard/RDD/AA or Bard/SD/AA.
RDD for Strength and SD for HIPS and epic dodge.

Or... you could do something silly and go for zen archery
Zen archer - Monk(10), Wizard(1), Arcane Archer(29)

a bit of monk speed to get out of tricky situations. wis is you're AB and AC so no need to worry about getting flat-footed.

These are all interesting. One question, what about the thing where you mess up you BAB if you don't have a multiple of four levels of each class at 20?

The multiple of 4 is only true about middle BaB classes. (Rogue, monk, Assassin...)
Since you add Arcane archer who has a BaB of +1 per lvl it doesn't matter as much. Thats why you add 10 lvl's of them pre-epic.

I've started a F9/w1/AA30 character and so far the mod has been pretty accommodating.

I'm currently trying out a Fighter 10 / Bard 3 / AA 27 featuring 34 Dex, not sure how it will turn out just yet.
232 skill points means I can pretty much max out Heal, Lore, Spellcraft, Tumble and UMD with some left over for Perform.
