shalnath death glitch

Hello,

This morning my team and I were doing a Shalnath run, usually its smooth the classic 3-4 kills and so forth. on the final part of the kill shalnath would simply not finalize its death. Kazara did not smite, the words were said it was in the circle, and alas still not finalize. Not sure whats going on with it but until this AM the other runs we did were fine.

Just a heads up that something could be wrong.

we killed roughly 7 times, each time in the circle, 2 of them worked out of the 7

I think I figured out the issue.

when fighting Shalnath without summoned creatures, and the words are said properly and so on... Shalnath dies correctly.

I THINK if a summoned creature gets the finishing blow, it won't count. I say that because one of our companions uses a greater mummy, and its quite strong. I think it was getting the finishing blow.

I further noticed this when a friend had vor summon a Celestial Warrior. The kill again did not count, I think its because the warrior got the kill. So when we don't use summoned creatures and Kazra doesnt smite shally the kill is clean and smooth.

Kazra should never smite Shalnath or any other boss for that matter. Is this happening?

It shouldn't matter if a PC or a summons kills Shalnath, its a variable set on his death regardless.

To answer your question, yes Kazra is smiting Shally, but its not counting as a kill.

Okay, yeah I think the summoning monsters is the reason but i cant be 100% sure

Does it say: "Kazra smites your enemies"? I use the same lightning bolt vfx on his counted deaths.
