The Steam update has knocked several people out of the game as well.

I will have to wait until the docker files are updated. It is to much of a pain to compile it myself.

For the steam users:

You should opt out of automatic updates (select only update when you launch the game.)

Then launch the game from the neverwinter nights directory without steam.

This should allow you to play the game until Driller updates the PW.

This remedy is for next time as you have already been autoupdated this time.

I went ahead and manually updated. Please let me know if anything weird happens, I kind of did things in a hurry.

Anyone else having diffuculties with 1.75? Such as no chat window and not being able to select any race but human in the character creation menu?

My chat was showing as just one window. I right clicked on the bar at the top and selected split chat window.

Check to make sure you do not have any 2da files in your override folder.

Splitting the windows worked. Didn't know that could be done. Never had the window become one window before.

thanks Driller

Edit: I had a GUI mod in my override folder that enlarged the font so it was easier to read that cause the problem with the race selection. They had changed it so the Mod no longer worked. So I will have to disable it when I want to make a new character. (there is no way that they are going to do enhancements and not break previous mods)

Steam: An easy way to roll back is to go to your game in the Steam library. Right-click, go to "properties", select "beta" tab. Select beta program "oldstable" and you have to old version.
