I would think some sort of online database that people will give information regarding servers. Unfortunately it will make it more difficult to manage as IP have a tendency to change, unless it is a static IP.

A full list web page could be maintained by NWNVault of each server's webpage link. Taking the person to the specific PW they wish to participate in. It would then be up to the PW's creator to keep his direct link address up to date.
Each PW usually has a forums or webpage such as BSK does. The direct link then should be posted somewhere on the pw's web page (or forums page), once directly connected once it will be in the history tab of the multi-user section of the NWN game. It will only needed to be entered again if the PW's ip address is not a static one.
