Running away
Running away
I seem to do this a lot.
It would be helpful if I knew where I was running to.
Markers on the area maps to show exits/adjacent areas would be nice.

Re: Running away
do you want arrows on the ground pointing the way out good grief...i mean i don't mean to be mean about this but what fun is it if you knew exactly where to run all the time.....part of the fun is adventuring into unknown areas and hoping you can find your way out of a predicament if you get into one..try scouting an area and note where you are and what kind of escape route you may take.....also there are portal books for purchase...try using one of them when you find yourself in a pickle so to speak.
Re: Running away
Arrows would be good, especially meeting Snort for the first time with a low level character.
Just thought some directions would be useful.

LOL maybe since you put it that way..as long as they are not coming from Snort
Re: Running away
hmm i don't know if it can be done in the NWN2 tool set.. but road signs could be cool. for someone who is new to the server and doesn't know where there going. if at the entrance of a zone there could be a road sign that would kind of point you in the direction of towns or land marks.

Re: Running away
I would like to see Map notes to transition areas myself (this is cause I'm getting senile and can't remember where I was just at). And , "Yes", road signs can be done on NWN2 TFR Server has them everywhere, just like RL, telling you where the roads lead to. Comes in handy when you first start playing there and also as a veteran player to know where the city of Fae is after adventuring. LOL.
Re: Running away
Here is a suggestion. If encounter monsters that are kicking your butt, run in the opposite direction.
