More Undead

Post by Nottingham »

I would love to see more undead in the higher level areas... the kind you really do not want to encounter until you are level 10 or so... and in other areas... level 20, etc...

And with undead, you can build down... abandoned temples and castles...

In a related topic, it seems like skeletons have damage resistance that includes bludgeoning damage. The general used to be something like if a skeleton was hit by a bladed weapon, a 1 was automatically rolled on the damage roll--1d4, 1d6, 1d8, so on and so forth--but if a mace or bludgeoning weapon hit, it did normal damage to them. Is there a way to just give them piercing and slashing resistance, but not bludgeoning. In fact, they could have bludgeoning vulnerability. That would be very cool. It makes it worth having that mace in your backpack. It also makes it worth playing a cleric true to old school D&D philosophy.
