I was wondering if anyone had ever used the Harper Scout class. I have thought it would be interesting from a RP perspective, but I have never made one because they don't seem to have any value outside of that.

90% of Harper build use their bonus feats at level 1 and 5 to either pick up great dexterity or great charisma.

on anotehr server, i had a monk/HS/Rogue with 8 attacks per round unhasted, great dex 10 and some other nice tricks.

This is a support char who is a archer and has use of most magical items. Use as many feats as possible for Favored Enemy. Over all you have one kick ass archer that given the range can hit hard and if done right can sneak attach with the best.

... of course, that's assuming you know what role court jesters truly played in history.

I'll just say that "Fool" was a deliberately misleading title, which enabled them to be some of the best eyes and ears a king could have in his service.

Guess that means Nizzle rules like a fool, eh?

Best PG Class around. may be good for RPing too, but i wouldnt know. i'm a terrible RPer

I just brought it up because I was wondering why people would use the class for anything OTHER than RP, as it is a pretty weak class. It seems that the major reason is for people to take it post-epic and get the epic feats, but even then I'm not sold on being a Harper Scout. Do you have any thoughts on it, Chiffawn?
