Post by Luceran »

Farewell to THE DM.

Without this guy NONE of this would have ever happened.

A tragedy. Props to the man for his accomplishments.

Interestingly enough, he died on my birthday.

The genre he fathered has provided more entertainment and fun than any other hobby I can think of.

Too bad a 5,000 gp diamond can't reverse this loss.

What a shame indeed. May the Master rest in peace.

I personally see that the best way to be remembered after passing on by your acquaintances and loved ones is by the things one has accomplished in their lives. Bringing this kind of joy and happiness to so many, one can imagine that he will be remembered fondly.

I can only say,
that many of my successes in this life were based upon the relationships and friendships I forged, the things I learned to do, and the creative insipirations that came to me as a result of being involved in a little role-playing game called Dungeon's and Dragons, back in 1979. The man that created that, and ulitmately inspired me to think and do many great things, will be sorely missed, and never forgotten. Thank you Mr. Gygax, and may you rest in peace.
