Aren't these making fun of a guild names? Why didn't you list these ones Myle? I mean, it can offend people if their in the guild its or whoever leads the guild.
It offends me, just like the mal-grey name I was telling you about and how Vayne said the name was made to show people that the Ral-Grey are really just idiots. I heard vayne say that to the "you know who guy" who made that character and started harassing people
This may sould harsh, but you did ask....
To be honest, I did not notice the difference between their names and your guild names. Both are unnecessarily long and annoying, but did not warrent my direct attention to my knowledge.
How am I supposed to know the difference between names I find ridiculous that happen to belong to a guild and names I find ridiculous that just mimic the guild?
If you want to pimp your guild by advertising in your name bubble, your going to draw attention to yourself. Drawing attention is the purpose of advertising. If you are only drawing negative attention - that may be an indication that your advertising excercise is ill-concieved.
Also keep in mind... If *I* was not able to tell the difference then it is likely many others coud not either. This could mean that others view you so much like your mimics that nobody has bothered to care if there is a difference.
I would advise your guild just use your core names and limit your titles to things like Sir, Mister, Lady... and other generalized titles.... then focus on living up to the nobility that is implied by the use of that title.
