Ping Issues

i've been trying to get back to bsk for the last few months, but every single server gives me a ping of 457, which makes it impossible to play... how can i solve this?

also, my toolset does not open :X

help, please :'(

Think it is possible you need to reset your firewall settings for NWN to be allowed access. Sometimes firewalls make multiple settings for a program and this increases your ping expodentially.

Suggest you attain advice from the provider of your firewall to help in this matter.

i opened an exception for NWN on the f-wall, still not working :X

Have you made sure that the correct ports are open?

You then need to clear all your exceptions out as well but also do check your ports as well as suggested above.

Ok here is a thought have you tried rebooting your modem and router? DO NOT RESET THEM just turn them off, unplug the router from the modem, reboot the modem then when the lights are flashing plug in the router again.

Often you have to do that once a week because sometimes the signals send garbage. This happens with Dial up a LOT and sometimes with DSL but also happens to Cable too.
