Back by Popular Demand…Team Gauntlet Competition
I will be holding the team gauntlet competition once again. The dates of the competition have not yet been set, but will be most likely mid-September. I will edit when I can confirm the dates. I will need everyone interested or a member of a full team to respond so I can how many will be participating. I will also be setting starting times for the teams so that people do not have to be just standing around waiting for their turn.
The object is simple, make it to the end, but it’s not an easy task.
The rules are as follows:
The team will not be partied with each other during the event. Which means area effect spells WILL affect your teammates!
No pre-buffing will be allowed.
The server difficulty level will be increased to Hardcore D&D rules. Affects become permanent, i.e. Flesh to Stone, and the creatures also have the ability to score a critical hit.
Only potions allowed during the event will be healing potions.
Scrolls will not be allowed.
Rods will not be allowed.
Wands will not be allowed.
The spell Greater Sanctuary will not be allowed.
I may allow this time for clerics to cast resurrection and raise dead, but I will think about it.
Each player can only enter one character into the competition.
*Added*
Characters of any level may participate, but if any of the team is non-epic, then all members must be with 5 levels of each other.
A team can have up to 4 players. I did have a team last time try and run it with fewer, but it is designed for 4.
No resting during the event. So spellcasters need to watch their spells.
I have the right to change or modify the rules as I see is needed.

This is not for just 40th level chars. Any levels are welcome, but all players on a team need to be with 5 levels of each other if any of the chars has not yet reached epic level (21st).Fenrip wrote:Any chance of 2 events one for 40s and another for say, 20 or less?
Also, does hardcore mean dev crit is available to the critters?
Yes a few of the critters do have dev crit, but some of the players have Crushing Blow. That is also why, I am thinking of allowing clerics to be able to raise their fallen teammates.
