Grrrrr ... I got stung by the Wasteland quest not giving ep or gp for the Vapor Hawk feather, even the PC that had the feather. Can a fix for the wasteland quest be put on the "to do" list?
To get the exp and gold for the hawk quest, u need to hit the last blow on the the hawk by urself no matter in a party or not, otherwise when ur in a party, either of ya guys can get a reward though the journal can be updated. so are the other quests in the waste.

probably u havenot actually hit the last blow on a giant champion to get the eye, but since ur in a party, u could still have the giant quest moved to yer "Finished Quests" when ur party member handed in the eye and got the new hawk quest. in this case, u still havenot got the hawk quest actually.
Nope. I killed the hawk, got the feather and turned it in myself. Nice theory, but it's wrong. Cliff was in party when I turned it in, and he didn't get anything either... So your theory could apply to him, but not to me.
i donot think u have actually understood what i said. i meant maybe u hadnot even actually finished the quest before hawk feather quest. u can get the hawk feather quest, which even shows an updating in yer journal, but u'll never be able to finish the hawk quest unless u actually finish the giant quest first. that means you need to hit the last blow and get yer loot from the monster for every quest in the waste to completely finish each quest. in this way u can get both exp and gold. well, it applys to me and the ppl i know. anyway, could be wrong cuz i guess it's kinda bug needing a fix.
I still need to do that quest... Note to self: Lay the "Smack Down" on that lady in the waste outpost if she don't come up off the gold and xp when I'm done... that is if the Vapor Hawk doesn't kill me!
