Horde Mode Event

Since we have a few new players, I was thinking of doing another horde mode event. Based on the time I have available, it would probably be held later in the evening EDT time on the weekend. Please let me know if you are interested.

Horde events are now player initiated. The are active on the first Saturday of every month.

this event looks really interesting
also a few questions
can you make another toon and retry the horde event?
what happend to the toon after event is complete?
do the event is going to last until sunday first reset? , or Sunday 00HS ends completly?

Yes. You keep it. It will last until the end of Saturday.

The event was fun, I hope we can do one or two the beginning of every month.

As for me, the event is designed for players with experience, that is, having at least one high-level character and experience of participating in epic battles.
This should come as a shock to completely newbies. For RP-oriented players, this should come as a shock twice.
PS: Maybe, there are events without forge stones and lesser reward, but more soft.

I participated in the first version and did the most recent one 4 times during that Saturday.
I have been playing on the server for a couple months and this was the first event I have tried (just started raiding). It is definitely fun, ramps up fast, needs a ton of people, lags out with all of the persistent AoE spells, and is ultimately not very rewarding. In the end you get a character with some levels that you can relevel, and maybe a random item. I did the event 4 times one day, got to rounds 4,1,8 and 9. I had an emerald forge stone which I sold to buy more gear during the event, and a cherry forge stone from those 4 runs over multiple hours. Fun for sure, but I feel the rewards could be better, gives more incentive.

If you can complete wave 10, the boss at the end drops 6 + 1d6 forge stones, plus chances for other various things.

It was a real hit over the weekend.
There were groups of 8,12 and the highest player count we had was 21 I think.
I could see it being really popular if it opened up on the weekends.
