Umgah front gates.

Post by Sorcy Sid »

When you go in the city you are not actually on the other side of the gates. Just running forwards kicks you right back outside. You have to avoid the transition barrier by changing your view to high above and clicking past the gates.

After five minutes of trying I had to give a new player a recall stone so they could get around the gates high transition barrier. They may have been on a phone. But still, that transition is annoying.

This because the underdark is a grid based map and the doors are scripted to take you to the next area/ transition based on its relative position.

I was lazy and didn't want to link all those doors. I changed the gates to use waypoints, so its all good now.
