Shifter - merging gloves

Hello. I would like to suggest gloves merging for the shifter. Thanks to it all unarmed forms and especially dragons would be competable to humanoid forms. In my opinion hardest to obtain form should be the strongest and in high - magic environment like Blackstonekeep where gloves unfortunately do not merge it never will be. Please consider changing it.

I've put on crafted gauntlets with added damage in sockets and changed in tiger form - so far no damage added in character sheet.

Checked just after reset and gauntlets didn't merge into tiger form.

Hmm, that might be why they where left out to begin with. I will have to do some testing. It's been so long I can't remember why they weren't in there.

Did one more test. Ogre's strength gloves merged in all my shifter's forms. Damage from monk's gloves unfortunately no.

Did you have a weapon equipped? When I've seen gloves merge elsewhere, the proviso is that you can't have a weapon equipped when you do so. Might not be it but just a thought.

I will change gloves to be treated as a weapon instead of armor, that way AB/damage bonuses will be applied.

According do NWNWiki weapons don't merge for unarmed shifter forms, so It will be tricky to make it work. Hope You will find technical sollution to this.

This should be working now. Gloves are treated as weapons. But, I will eventually change this to count gloves as a normal item by default. It will only treat it as a weapon if you are unarmed.

Unfortunately it doesn't work. Checked on all currently accesible unarmed shifer and druid forms. Whats more, like I wrote in bug section - weapons stopped merging in armed shifter forms.

The changes Driller made to this applies at the next reset, try again then and let us know how it goes.
