i know this might sound like a stupid question, but when i spoke to Silvey, the 1st things she said asked was "are you ready to follow Lia?" so i would assume if i say yes, i will no longer be a follower of Vor, correct? i don't want to change Deities.

indeed, but for you to change god imply a lot of confirmation and clicking, shouldn't happen if you are careful just a bit.
