Bladecaster being replaced

The Bladecaster will be removed and a new class called a Bladeweaver will replace it.

Current Bladecasters will not be changed and will work as usual.

The Bladeweaver has the exact same requirements, the difference is he will get a katana once he meets them.

The katana will have a unique on hit property that will have a 1d6 chance of firing. It will stun vulnerable enemies 1d2 rounds, plus it will do magic damage(PCs level + 5) and heal 10% of the PCs hitpoints.

Sounds cool Driller.
Any chance it could be any arcane caster class instead of just sorc/wiz?
Or maybe add another High BAB progression class instead of just fighter?

I haven't added it to the intro conversation yet. But you can create a new character and enter Bladeweaver as the subrace when you are picking your class and it will work.

Requirements:

Elf
Neutral
Exotic Feat
Min 2 levels of a Fighter.
Min 3 levels of Sorc or Wiz.

Is there a way to get a second bladeweaving Katana if you're dual-weilding? (I know it's not optimal with a STR-based weapon, but for coolness....)

Can you ask the angry dwarf to add enchantment bonus to your Katana?

Can you use Forge stones to add stuff to the Katana? (This might require you letting a Forger have your katana for a while. Traumatic to lend someone your weapon, but still.)

Is there a way to get a new katana if you lose your magic katana due to disarm or Pick-pocketing?

Also, can I just say: Wheeeeeeeeee!!!!! A magic Katana! Wheeeee!!!!

You can dual wield, but the effect is only active on one blade.
You can add enhancement.
Yes.
It is automatic. The item is plot to avoid exploits. But, it's real value will be taken into account when forging.

You can't give a plot item to a Forger for adding, say +20AB to it, right?

But that would mean you can't add enchantments through the angry dwarf either?

You can drop/trade plot items. You are thinking of cursed ones.

As soon as I can dream up a good name for a Bladeweaver, I'm gonna test this. My longest-living pen-and-paper-character was a spell-casting, dualwielding elf with magic katanas. I'm soo happy I can try that in BSK!!!!
